2011 Remembered Sept., Oct., Nov., December

SEPTEMBER started with our family of 5 taking it's first small vacation- We went to a coastal town about 4 hours away for a long weekend- The weather was beautiful and Ellie did pretty well.  Neither Matt nor I are confident baby travelers- weird and a bit humbling but a total fact of life..........Traveling, with an infant, scares us more than moving over 3000 miles away (to an island where we knew no one blah blah blah y'all know the rest of the story).  Eli started his Soph. year of high school, Ryan started his 7th grade year, and Ellie turned 3 months!

OCTOBER- My good friend Deb's daughter Arielle was able to travel to Russia as a foreign exchange student for her senior year.......She left in Aug. and will be back sometime in the summer of 12'- The month of Oct. marked Arielle's 18th birthday- A group of ladies from our church, some dear friends of mine, were able to get together 2 times this month to celebrate our kid's birthday's (the first get together was actually to celebrate Deb's birthday but turned into a celebration of Arielle's birthday- and the second celebration was to celebrate Kristi's daughter Kailin's birthday)

NOVEMBER.......Matt flying to Hawaii for our adoption finalization court hearing and Thanksgiving!!

DECEMBER:
We not only celebrated the birth of our Heavenly Father but celebrated our first Christmas with Ellie......
